Ice Candle The Ice candle project is a perfect example of science in action.
In making this beautiful and mysterious candle you will discover during the process the
 same theory of lava flow and water fissures that were formed when the earth was formed
millions of years ago.  Hot lava mixed with earth and rock at unbieveable temperatures
when the lava met with the cold water and cooled down the lavachanged from a liquid
form to a solid form.  This projects demonstrates that phenomenon when hot lava meets
with cold water the water heats and evaporates and the lava coolsand becomes a solid
 rock like form. In some places it may cool soonerthan other places causing catacombs 
and fissures to form
